not letting me download???

so origin is not letting me download my new stuff packs and it just keeps saying error and refusing to download. i have stable internet and a good PC to play it on and it hasn't given me problems before so i don't why it wouldn't work.. i restarted origin and it still wont work and i don't know what to do now i don't want to re-download origin because i would lose everything.

Hey @Erlandson_Ashley the error would point to something on your system blocking Origin, the best thing to do is take a couple of minutes to go through the following steps:

• Close Origin completely by right clicking the Origin system tray icon and selecting Exit.
• Make sure Time/Date is correctly set on the PC
• Make sure Origin is authorized by your anti-virus and firewall
• Reset Internet Explorer Settings
• Untick the options in LAN Settings ( make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server )
• Clear Origin Cache Data
• Reset the Windows Host File
• Reboot your computer. Now right-click Origin and select Run as administrator
• If still unresolved, please do a clean boot
