my origin will not update my sims 4

I attempted to update my Sims 4 game but my computer was lagging so i canceled it to do it later. When i went back the picture and play button were faded and I was not given the option to do the update I tried refreshing my game shutting down my computer logging out and reinstalling. The most recent update came out and it gave me the option to update when i clicked on update now it did nothing i tried everything i did previously and I'm not able to contact ea for some unknown reason. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!
