my game wont update

so i had to update sims 4 and i did it,but after it finished updating it says "will be finished" and it kept loading for already a few hours and not letting me play the sims ,yes i tried repairing the game but it's the same problem so i can't even repair it,help?

Hey @marshmeowloww 

Could you please try to clear Origin cache (it will restart any on-going downloads in the app) and update Origin to the beta version (Origin -> Application settings -> Client update -> enable "Participate in Origin client betas" then restart the client)?

Then choose repair for The Sims 4 once again.
