mass effect 1 not running on origin

hi .

       mass effect 1 wont play on origin any more ,it was playing fine but now when ever i click to play i keep getting message saying

   "please install directx 9.0 or later "  is it because of the new origin update?

have set origin to download beta and ran directx install from mass effect directory

 any help please

yippiekiaaa you need to do this -right click on the game in Origin, select Game Properties, and tick disable Origin In Game.

Try to install DirectX11 From Download Page.

Ain't responsible for any Viruses or if your PC will Crash while using it because its not strong enough.

Research it your own and download the best Version.
