Hi,
So here is my situation - I would like to change my current email address into a new one, but the email I'm using for this account has been locked due to inactivity. (It's more like the email used in this account requires another email that has been long locked by Yahoo). Therefore I can't acquire the verification needed to change the email address, I mean I can just register a new account but I don't want to lose the progress I have on this account and it's just to be more efficient in terms of email usage.
Hopefully any EA staff reach out to this forum post, since I can't contact the customer service due to time zone differences. Stay safe and home during the COVID-19 pandemic everyone!

Thank you for reaching out to me, but I still can login to my account through the Origin app. The thing is I just can't change the locked email address to a new one, so I can feel safer to use this account for future transactions.
Regards,
Me

Though, there might be a solution @mythicfad3
If you have access to your account, try to access the customer portal.
It's available through the Origin client on the profile section and click the button: Edit on EA.com.
On the Security tab, on the bottom, you have the option to add a secondary email where you can get security codes also. I am not sure if when you change it the first time you get the confirmation code on the original mail only.

Hi @mythicfad3,
It sounds like you no longer have access to the email currently on the account. The best thing to do is take a look at this help article and fill out the account recovery form: https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/im-locked-out-of-my-ea-account/
