friends can't find me on Origin

a friend of mine said that he couldnt find me but i was able to successfully find him

please help me with this problem

Hello,

It may be due to the privacy settings of your origin profile. Try changing the privcacy settings to everyone and also checking all the boxes in "Allow users to search for me by " . And alternatively you can ask your friend to search you by going to friends tab in origin client and select add a friend and then search in the box  " Search for friends" . He should be able to search you if your are online and available.

I wasn't able to find my friend by their username but was with their email which revealed the exact username I'd been searching for. Better than nothing.

Might be a little late to help you because its 4 years later but we just had the same problem , you have to make sure you are both signed in with the same language .
