api-ms-win-core-localization-l1-2-0.dll error

★★ Novice

Every time I start The Sims 2 (or origin in general), I always get this message telling me that I'm missing api-ms-win-core-localization-l1-2-0.dll Even though I already downloaded it to my system 32 and downloaded and redownloaded origin multiple times. Please help me on the reoccurring error.

Hi @RosieKitty2003

1.Make sure your windows fully updated and try to start your game.

2.If your issue persists to fix it, install the Update for Universal C Runtime in Windows.

My Opinion is no more important or right than yours.I'm a gamer like you, trying to help you (i'm not an EA employee).

If you want to know us or/and come up with ideas to improve the Origin platform or/and talk about anything and many more besides, you could also visit the NEW section Origin General Discussion http://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/bd-p/origin-general-discussion-en
