In the United States, it can even vary per state and city, so I would unable to give you an exact number.

When I add it to my cart does it add the tax for me when it gives me a total price or no?

Hey @kkempf23 Origin does not have a cart so when you click on Get the Game you will be able to see the total amount inclusive of any sales tax included in the checkout window.

Well I'll just repeat the request that a cart be added to Origin. To answer the question Tax is generally calculated by BILLING ADDRESS. Looks like the tax rate varies between state - 6.25% and City 11.00%. Sadly it appears that 91% of Chicago residents get to pay the higher rate. http://www.sale-tax.com/Illinois_all
