When I click on ' update now ' nothing happens.

My Origin just automatically updated and then I wanted to update my Sims 4 but I couldn't. If I click on the ' update now ' button absolutely nothing happens. I deleted and reinstalled Origin but it didn't work.
Any suggestions?

@heavenonly Hmm, can you try swapping to Origin's Safe Mode and check again?

To do this, click "Origin" in the top left, then Application Settings. Under the Advanced tab there should be a checkbox for Safe Mode Downloading. 

Check this and try to update again.

@EA_David im hoping youll respond to this but in the advanced tab, safemode doesnt appear.
