What if I was given a no longer used orgin owned with EA stuff?

My friend no longer uses her orgin account so she gave it to me it has 4 expansion packs on it while my account has 4 also. Is it possible to take hers or download them and have them for my sims game? Her account is no longer in use by anybody but me, What can I do or is the account useless?
