What does origin mean by the "all-new EA desktop app"?

Hi, all. I was just wondering what origin means by saying that "We're upgrading the way you play with the all-new EA desktop app"? Is that supposed to be a new name for origin or something? What exactly does this mean? It's so weird....

@FandomPrince It's a brand new platform that EA are in the process of building, I think this will replace the current Origin Client and improve things by a large amount.
