What currency are the prices in the Origin store in?

What currency are the prices in the Origin store in? Is the price always in US dollars or is it specific to your country. i.e. I live in New Zealand, so does that mean the prices as I see them are in NZ dollars?

For example - if your profile is set to the UK, you would use British Pound Sterling.

that's not true, prices displayed are "R" even though in my country our currency is not "R"
