Wal Mart Doritos code not working

I was excited when I found out about the promo for Wal Mart Pepsi and Doritos in store. I read the directions carefully and even took pictures of the flyer.

So I purchased a bag of doritos and a pepsi two liter. I wasn't sure about how it really worked, but I did notice on the receipt I had a code printed out. I came home, followed directions, and the redeem said code not valid. I tried upper and lower case, with and without the hyphens.

I read q/a and proceeded to contact help.ea.

The agent Naman S helped me, ticket is 50056888 in which he eventually redeemed my code for me, and I was a fool, but forgot to ask when the things were to be added or available.

I restarted client, logged in and out, updated origin, restarted computer, still nothing.

An hour or so passes and I don't see anything, so I contact Shalini at eahelp, and had to basically outline process again.. She said she would escalate it to specialists, and to call back tomorrow, which they weren't open on Sunday.

So now, I sit here on eahelp.com chat, and I am typing up this thing, hoping for some help. priyanka is looking a bit further into the information, but earlier contacted specialists, and they say it was added to the account. They didn't give her details like when, just that it should be there.

Best guess at this point is that the 2 liter didn't qualify? So maybe it is as literal as the picture, maybe 12 pack of Pepsi is the only qualifying Pepsi product? Its not listed on the redeem page either.

 I just went and bought a 12 pack of diet dew and a bag of Doritos that matches the picture regular size no code printed on either does anyone even know where the code is supposed to be on the receipt because neither one of my receipts showed anything

Hey @Megalodon360 as I understand it the code should be printed on the receipt or on the second piece of paper. If you did not receive it then you will need to speak with the retailer to get the code.

 The problem is no one at the retail store Walmart knew about the promotion they didn’t know what products would trigger the code they didn’t even know there was a thing going on because they said the Pepsi and chip guys set up the little cardboard displays about the promotion on the aisle they do nothing I asked three managers and the stock person and nobody had a clue about the code they said they couldn’t help me I bought four more items all on separate receipts to try to find a code and did nothing wasted $20 would’ve been better to just buy madden coins now I’m out $20 still don’t know what I need to buy to get the codes and nobody at the store was helpful submitted a ticket and chatted with someone on  EA support last night and they were worthless they said all you have to talk to the retailer and new nothing else about the promotion  at least when it was a target they had stickers on the bag so you knew what you were getting this is the worst run promotional effort I have ever seen.

That link still doesn’t say what items are part of the program. I bought 2 Pepsi products and a regular sized bar of Doritos with no code. Can anyone tell us what products work for the code because my Walmart has the promotional signs for this but none of thier receipts have a code for Madden. Worst promotion ever!

Yeah, and that is basically what ea help told me over and over. Its simply not on the account, nor has it ever been added to the account. I asked the agents to check my account history and for instance I had one try to tell me Mahomes was added to my account a day before I bought the stuff, which was the 80 Mahomes that everyone got as part of the promo for superstars. Which that tells me they can look at my account and see it wasn't ever added.

That is if they knew what it was that I was missing. No one has any idea about this, pretty sure.

We can't even buy gold player packs so that should be the only way it would be added. I mean you would think that they should be able to tell that it wasn't.

Here, I screen shotted the customer service conversations so you can get caught up, if you don't mind.

Ct 0 is the first conversation when it wouldn't take it on my account, and the agent said he manually applied it. So that is where the fail happened because nothing was added or changed about the account. Not that the agent did it wrong, it just didn't trigger pack. CT1 is where I contacted to see where it was. 

I was originally confused about it thinking maybe I was supposed to get a Mahomes, but I understand now, I have to buy a copy of the game in store to get that. But that Agent didn't even want to read the faq that I was misinterpreting, because they could have told me I misunderstood that part at least.

I have been on my account every single day grinding. Multiple restarts, and there was even one update it gave me.
