Why am I not able to request any more verification codes?

I want to link my Twitch and EA accounts for the new FIFA 19 Twitch Prime Rewards.

However when I get to the verification code request, I do not get sent one. In addition, I cannot request any more codes as there is a message saying "Too many requests, try in a few minutes."

I have given it hours, and it still won't let me request any more verification codes, and thus I cannot link the two accounts.

Hey @iSeaWeed1 if you are not getting the verification coeds then pleasespeak with one of our phone or chat support advisers who will be able to advise you further. 

You can contact our live support at help.ea.com.  

To request a callback or speak with a chat adviser:

Click on your product Origin

Then select 'PC

Manage my Account'

Can't log in

Finally, you can choose to receive a callback or begin a chat.
