Can two brothers use the same EA game with different EA accounts?
This is using the same computer and same game installation, but big brother doesn't want little brother to mess up his game and achievements.
How is this done? Do you sign out of Origin, then sign in with little brother's EA account?
Or is purchase of the game tied only to the first EA account that first installed the game?

@JJWenderman no you can only be signed in one one computer at a time with an account. You will need to make a new account and re buy the game to not mess up their game/achievements as there is no way to have two different stats save on one account. If they both have an account they both can log out/in on any PC and continue off where they are from their respective accounts.

@MorningTimeCloud Ok, thanks for your reply. I had not realized that purchase of a game is linked only to one account. So it sounds like in a family, each child would have to purchase their own game, even if they are always using the same family computer (at different times). Is that correct?

@JJWenderman Hi,
That is correct, if you want to ensure that each respective users progress does not cross over, you will require to use separate accounts to play, each having purchased the respective game.
That said, there are some exceptions, for some single player games you could keep separate save games. As long as the account holder signs the computer into Origin, another family member could then play this game on their own save game.
Let us know if you have any further questions.
Cheers,
Nils

@EA_Nils, My boys want to both play Star Wars Battlefront. Do you know if that allows for separate game saves, using the same Origin account?

@JJWenderman Hi,
As Star Wars Battlefront is a multiplayer game, this will unfortunately not be possible on the PC with your Origin account.
It would work on consoles though where you do have things like home sharing via Gamertags.

What if the game is free? Apex Legends? Is there a way to have two EA accounts on one computer use the same Apex Download?
