What a stubborn person @shayan323...

For your information, the United States sanctions towards Iran have been introduced since 2001 and are constantly changing, supplemented... Some info about sanctions from 2010.

Im not a legist and I cant understand all the nuances of sanctions...

Judging by this documents [560.314, Internet-freedom and old guidance], it is clearly allowed to use only communication and information services.

If u dont believe me, u can try ask EA_Tom http://answers.ea.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Origin-Unable-To-Connect-From-Iran/m-p/5554407/highlight/t...

Also u can go to a lawyer and study all this docs.

And to be sure of blocking:

- check this: go to some game page on steam and press buy it as a gift and check country list.

- then give to us result of UOTrace for this servers:
signin.ea.com
accounts.ea.com
secure.download.dm.origin.com

If u dont believe me ok tell me and i send teamviewer code for you and you can check by your self

i know you don't work for origin! but  please dont say something if you dont know

Also u can go to a lawyer and study this

https://www.treasury.gov/resource-center/sanctions/OFAC-Enforcement/Pages/20161222.aspx

and look at date and time !

and look at this !

"includes new or expanded authorizations related to training, replacement parts, " software " and services for the operation"

Ok, @shayan323 uare right and it is not sanctions and ur PC, it is EA company just blocking people like u, so that you no longer buy from them anything and everywhere they are watered with mud...

Man, seriously, stop writing stupid things and make people laugh. Large smile

U even cant read more then few words! All this info "includes new or expanded authorizations related to training, replacement parts, " software " and services for the operation" related to 31 C.F.R. part 560 which related to agricultural commodities, medicine, and medical devices only... These legal documents are not for ordinary minds... Try find some new info in OFAC FAQs: Iran Sanctions.

"and why we have no problem with steam and others ? see this https://youtu.be/q2mOnP-4dJs"

If u can open steam or other client this does not mean that there will be no problems in other steps.

Each company can fulfill the law in different ways: it is possible to cut a branch, and it is possible to cut down a tree, which is easier for everyone to decide for himself...

And I was ask u do something and not get the result...

I ask you, go to the topic that I indicated earlier and ask EA_Tom if they continue to work sanctions and not work Origin for Iran.
If he says "yes", give me apologize; if he says no, I'll apologize to you and close the topic.

@MADrag0n
Of course im not gonna buy origin games anymore, because i cant use it ! only stupid people buy something they cant use it !.

and for the link, you are right, and I'm sorry. I make mistakes when trying to discuss in 3 am.
anyway this is link
http://www.pcworld.com/article/2040384/us-allows-export-of-communication-devices-software-and-servic...
but i cant found it in treasury so maybe Not true i dont know about it

And for the Steam, we have no resitrictions. I can go to the store , buy games or send them as gifts to someone (i have no problem with that) play it using steam servers.
I have cash in steam wallet as you can see it. I buy a lot of games and i have no problem at all, steam has no limits for us so please dont talk shi*t about something you dont know,
You do not live here.

As for ubi, I have bought 2 games. Playing a lot and have no problem except bull** ubi servers, (for all users)
battle.net; i dont buy games from bettle.net but they have iran in their white list, and I do play free games from Battle.net.

And finaly, i dont care what you @Straatford87 or even Trip Hawkins say about sanctions
and I even dont care if origin works for us or not, (my ping in Battlefield 4 is 320ms so i cant play it at all ) plus we have enough war in real life.
Im only discussing in this post cuz you said:

"men, EA is under USA law and this is not EA's sanctions but USA government! Are u asking EA to break the law?"

This is a bad joke because all other clients with all sanctions from USA government have no problems even if they have limits
So if origin cared about us they can do what steam does in a way or another...
you say "Each company can fulfill the law in different ways" if they care, they can find ways.

All I'm saying is, dont say this is a law and we cant do anything about, impossible is impossible.
If Origin wants, thay can.
Im done with this post, cheers.

@shayan323 You are a strange man. First you ask questions, and then you say that you do not care about the answers from the officials.

Your new link contains correct information, but you again do not understand what it's about. It says about what I wrote above: on the resolution of the turnover of software, equipment and other things that are used only for communication between people.

If you do not have any problems with other clients-software, then here I see such options:
- your ISP somehow is not subject to blocking in those clients (perhaps this is temporary)
- you or your ISP use some methods of bypassing the blocking, i.e. proxy / VPN and other
- companies simply "forgot" or they not updated their "black lists" yet
- these companies obtained permission from the government for their activities in circumvention of sanctions
- law violation
- other
...

It is absolutely obvious to me that any company is obliged to comply with the laws of the country in which it is registered (in addition, international laws), and this is an indisputable fact!
