Tryna download SIMS 4 on windows 8

I just got a Dell all in one cpu touchscreen computer but everytime i try to download out of my orgins account with the activation code already acepted it keeps me prompting with: YOUR DOWNLOAD HAS BEEN PAUSED orgin needs to download files and is waiting your permission. Please choose yes bla bla bla but a yes has never poped up anyway cant download i want to play.. what do i do????

Please make sure that UAC is enabled and set to notify and that Origin is running with Admin rights.
