The Sims 4: Origin is currently not running issue

Hey, I've recently tried playing my Sims 4 game but it's come up with the 'Origin is currently not running' error. I've done lots of research to resolve this issue and I've; deleted all Sims 4 and other game files, uninstalled Origin, downloaded Origin again and downloaded the Sims 4 again. Unfortunately, this didn't resolve the issue and it's still coming up with the 'Origin is currently not running' error. It never happened before but in these last 3 months it has.

Could anyone suggest any other solutions for this problem?

@sims4gamer109 Hi, you can try checking this thread, it contains a selection of different steps. You may have tried some previously, but it's worth double-checking.

if anyone is still having this issue, something i did was turn off firewall protection on webroot (an antivirus application), and origin and ts4 worked just fine afterward
