The Sims 4 DLC download error

I'm trying to download The Sims 4 Holiday Celebration Pack but I keep receiving a download error: Please check that the location is available or cancel and restart the download to another location. My folder for downloaded games is on default which is under Origin Games. I've tried a new location but no such luck. Does anyone have a clue on what could be the issue? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hmm, I'd have recommended changing location but that's been tried. Does clearing the Origin cache help at all?

Is your C drive short on space by any chance?

I deleted the temp files and its still the same. And the C: Drive is currently at 556GB. To give a visual: after I add the game to the cart and I hit the download button, it takes me to the My Games screen but the game doesn't appear. It shows the loading wheel for a second and then the download error window pops up.
