YAY! it's there! It;s in the Origin launcer "my games" "sims 2 NEW". I already bought all the XPs & stuffs but i still play my Sims2 just love this version because my Sims look so realistic in this version (no wierd expressions) like on the sims3. I have simmies of my entire irl family/pets & all the celebs living my fantasy life, still making my own awesome "wishlist" homes and irl rundown homes, decor, & great movies & pics!! LOVE the Sims 2 so much, it's my own personal escape!!

I have the same doubt.
I'm a little worry of not receiving it (but maybe i'm just being impatient).

I read the faq again and i am a little confused.
But if i understand right, the only requirement to apply for this offer is to have The sims 2 or "any bundle or etc" in your library.
right?

I was reading in wikipedia that there are around 20 million copies out there.
It seems like a lot of work has to be done.
I hope i get my upgrade soon.

Why are the consumers that purchased physical copies before the Origin system existed being punished and excluded from this upgrade? It hardly seems fair to provide the free upgrade to only half the users that are losing technical support.
