Hello my friend: here are the steps for this problem: First, make sure you can view hidden files and folders:
Open the Start menu
Type "view hidden files and folders" into the search bar.
Press Enter to open the View tab of your Folder Options.
Open the Hidden Files and folders menu within the Files and Folders menu.
Click Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
Click Apply, then OK to exit the menu.
If open, close Origin by clicking Origin in the menu bar and selecting Exit.
Click the Start button, then Computer, then double-click (C to open the C:\ drive
Open the ProgramData folder, then the Origin folder, and delete all the files and folders except for LocalContent.
Windows XP players can find the ProgramData folder in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application data\Electronic Arts\
Go back to C:\:
Then open the Users folder,
Then the folder with your computer's username,
Then AppData,
Then Roaming,
Then Origin, and delete all the files and folders inside.
Go back to the AppData folder:
Then open the Local folder,
Then Origin, and delete all the files and folders inside

I deleted my free antivirus software, and now i can view my profile. Maybe there is another solution , but this is the easiest.
I hope I could help!

I had the same problem, here is how i solved that :
Go to your antivirus software and make an exclusion of origin games files.
EX :
For avast users : Menu/Parameters/Exclusions
Then add " C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\* " and click "OK".
Start your game; origin in-game should work now.

I had the same problem.
Removing the origin folder from AVAST (in all components) solved the problem. (rule: D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\*)
