Hi, for more then 7 months now and after several reports to Origin, I have come here to ask if anyone has been getting this issue too? Has anyone fixed this issue? Is anyone aware of this issue?
Here is my scenario:
Please note that I can install Game Packs, Expansions and Stuff packs without incidents from Origin. It is only updates that bring up this error and renders my game unplayable.
As a work around at this point, I have to uninstall Origin completely and then re-install it again to be able to play The Sims4 again. I can't tell you how many times I have had to do this and that I shouldn't have to do this anyway. My updates were installing properly until one day it just stopped. Also note that the game still has "update available" on The Sims4 game in my Origin Library when I have reinstalled origin. Needless to say I have tried again and got the same result.
I have tried uninstalling The Sims4 completely and reinstalled and have still had the same issues with it.
Origin have never replied to any of the reports I have made. Which is frustrating, so I thought I'd ask.
I also have the latest download of the Origin application too. I got it from their page on the internet.So I am not using an old version.
I am using Windows 8 and my computer is more then capable of handling requirements for The Sims4 game and Origin and has plenty of space too.
