Sims 4 will not update!!!

So sims 4 just had the toddlers update, and i went to update it but then when it was preparing it i got a notification saying "Origin has stopped responding close program". So i closed it, and it continued to do this every time i tried to update sims. After many hours i looked up what to do and it told me to delete origin, so i did and then when i went to re-install it and it didnt show up on my home screen, and so i just tried to use the little tab of it i got the same damn notification! "Origin has stopped responding close program". So now i can't play sims or download origin and its been like this for about four days. PLEASE HELP!!!

You need to do a Clean Boot https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/FAQ/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/

NOTE after that if your issue remains, you need to follow the steps below.

Restart your machine .

Run the setup file Origin with Admin rights  http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-program-or-a-game-as-an-administrator/#2

NOTE if your download stops or don't start you need to  checked in Origin / Application Settings / Diagnostics/ Safe Mod Downloading - click ON Safe mod downloading and restart Origin.
