Sims 4 activation

Hello,

I bought Sims 4 just before Christmas, but I havent really played it since. The icon shows up on my desktop but when I go to play it it says I need to input my activation code. I have the disk but I have lost the case so therefore lost the activation code. Do the discs have their own code? IS there a way I can get my code back?

I don't see Sims 4 ever having been linked to the account you used to log in here. Is it possible that the game is linked to a second Origin account?
