Sims 4 Island Living Expansion pack

hello! Ive never played sims before so I stupidly bought the island living expansion pack before I bought the original sims 4 game. I redeemed the expansion pack code and nothing has shown up in my game library. I just downloaded origin and then I realized I needed the sims 4 game, bought it, it showed up in my library and its downloading. the original game shows up but not. my expansion pack??? I tried to retype in my redemption code that I got off of cdkeys and its saying that its used now??? will this expansion show up or will have to open the original game first?

Hey @rayraerem if you open your My Game Library in Origin and click on the Sims 4 you should see a window open where you will get the option to select Extra Content.

If you click there you should be able to see all owned expansions and packs. If it is not showing up and there is an issue with the code then you will need to speak to the retailer.
