Sims 4 Doesn't work (MAC)

Hello!

I saw there was an update on sims 4 in origin so I downloaded it and after the download finished the play button went dim and I can't click it...

I've seen this problem with PC but for the life of me I can't figure out how to fix it on Mac. In the PC answers it says to empty your cashe but I have no idea how to do that ;c 

I love sims and it would be fantastic if someone could help me out
