Sims 3 Seasons say's it's installed, but I never downloaded it.

I purchased Sims 3 on a Windows laptop awhile back. I recently got a MacBook Air, and decided to install the game. Every other Sims 3 game i purchased made me download it. When i got to Seasons, it just said "install". i clicked it, it gave me the important installation notice, and i had to download it on an external application thing. I got a product code with every other game, but not Sims 3 Seasons. So I can't install it, does anyone know how to help?

How are you trying to go about downloading it? Are you using the Origin Client for your downloads?
