Sims 3 Crashing

So I've been playing the Sims 3 for quite some time now.  And I've been playing on this computer since I got it, which was two years ago.  I've been playing one family religiously for the last two days, and yesterday, the game crashed.  Luckily, I didn't lose much.  Just my sim having her kids and the other getting a promotion.  But now, I hit the interactive loading screen (the one where you locate objects to earn lifetime happiness points), and it sends this notification stating "The Sims 3 has stopped working" and then some little snippit about how Windows is searching for a solution.  It's incredibly annoying and I really wanna continue playing my game.  I've been playing in Windowed mode since it crashed yesterday and it doesn't affect it at all.

Please click on the cog icon beside the play button for the game and then Repair. Let that process finish and let us know if this prevents your issue, thanks.
