I've run SimCity on my Mac before, but I recently factory reset the entire machine (for a separate reason) and tried to install SimCity. It's stuck on finalizing, and I can't find any of the files in the Applications or Library folders. What can I do? I really want to play! xD

Hi @amanmandi - Did you upgrade to Catalina? Starting with MacOS Catalina 10.15, Apple is no longer supporting 32-bit applications like SimCity. There is more information and suggestions in this post: https://answers.ea.com/t5/SimCity-2013/Mac-SimCity-and-MacOS-Catalina/m-p/8298578#M127940

Sorry to hear that you are having issues @nsull304.
Can you start by ensuring that nothing is blocking Origin on your system? You can try disabling both your anti-virus and firewall and then trying to install the game again.
If that does not help then you can try resetting Origin on your Mac: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/how-to-reset-origin-on-mac/

Got to same problem after MacOS upgrade. Haven't found solution yet.
Tried removing SimCity.app folder but didn't work. Looks like some other files under Origin folder needs to be cleaned up.
