The Repair Game option is found when you right click on the game.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling Origin.
- Make sure you are in Finder then click Go in the menu bar. Hold down Alt and the hidden Library folder will show up. Click on the Library folder.
- You now need to check in the following folders for any Origin files and folders:
Application Support (Origin)
Caches (Origin, com.ea.Origin)
Preferences (com.ea.Origin.plist)
Saved Application state (com.ea.Origin.savedState)
Open a Finder window and click on your Macintosh HD in the left hand section under Devices (if it's not there click on Finder in the menu bar then Preferences. Select the Sidebar tab and make sure Hard Disks is ticked under Devices), open Library, then delete the Origin folder.
After you've trashed them, empty the trash then restart your Mac. Then redownload and reinstall Origin.
Also try repairing your permissions. You can find this:
Open Disk Utility and Repair Permissions - Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility

So, you're having trouble finding the "repair game" option. I had to right click on it, but some mac mouses don't do that, so I use a different one(I don't remember what the shortcut is for a single click mouse but it shouldn't be that hard to find.). Right clicking brings up a different menu, with that option on it.

You will need to secondary click over the grayed out game and it will give you a list to choose from. One is repair game files.

Hi! I had the exact same problem and found people weren't being specific enough. To "repair game" you need to plug in a mouse and then right click on the picture and the option will come up. Hope this works!

You can set up right click on any Mac using any mouse/trackpad by going into System Preferences then Mouse or Trackpad (depending on what you are using) and enabling secondary click

I had this same issue when trying to play Sims on my Mac. But I got mine to work again and this is what I did!

I.e "right click" on the game icon, select "Repair game" from drop down menu.
Right click = two fingers on track pad or ctrl-click on Mac.
Hope this helps
