Purchasing games on EA Origin?

I own a Mac and am thinking about purchasing The Sims 3 from the EA Origin store. If I were to buy this game for Mac, would I be purchasing it for both Mac and PC?
I know on Steam, if you buy a game for Mac, you can also play it on a PC if you were signed into your Steam account.

I'm talking about digital download. Not a physical copy. I also notice that under the purchase option, it says "Mac/Win Download." So I think that means if you buy it for Mac, you don't have to purchase it again in order to download it to a PC (as long as you are signed into your Origin account).

Can someone confirm or deny?

Yes it does run on both Mac and Windows the only thing you just need to do is just keep signing in with your origin account on what computer your on like you said.
