So I forgot my password and needed a new one. So I created one, the requirements are that passwords need at least 1 upper, 1 lower, and a number. So I do that. It started with a number and had the requirements. Something like 51212Y6146p3. It said it changed successfully. However I could not log in. I tried many times and gave it time for the update to a password where the first character was a letter. Now it works fine.
Anyway, if this is a bug it gives me huge concerns that Origin knows very little about basic security and am having second thoughts about giving origin my CC number for purchases. Can you shed some light on this? Does origin strip passwords in silly ways? Do you even salt and hash your passwords?
