Origin- your update could not be completed.

Bought fifa 14 recently. So i wanted to install origin. Donwloaded and
Installed it. When i try to run it it says your update could not be completed.please download the latest version of origin at.....
Ive tryed multiple methods and hours trying to get it
To work. Downloaded older versions of origin and it just had different error msgs like "you have to be online
For the first time you log in" ... Please some on help me.

I was having this same issue...I used the ice dragon browser (yahoo based) instead of the version of Chrome I tried to do it with before. I also left all boxes checked to download it and just changed my settings after origin finally downloaded and installed. Not sure if this will work for everyone...but it worked for me.
