Origin won't open after update

I did an update last night (I haven't played for a while so not sure how old this up update is
Since I have done the update my origin will not open, it's open on task manager but doesn't physically open
I have read lots of threads and feel that I have tried everything with no solution - thoughts?

Same problem here. Origin won't open when clicke don other htna show in taskmaster.

 Tried clearing the cache, and clean booting.

Neither worked, so I uninstalled Origin, clean booted again, then I tried to reinstall.

Used both OriginSlimSetup.exe and OriginSlimSetupBeta.exe. running as admin but neither worked other than showing up in my taskmaster.

After 20 min was still sitting at 0% Usage.

Icon isn't visible in my clock icons, either.

sat over 2 hrs with tech support, still nothing, and i did everything they asked

My Origin worked the 17th, but not the 18th. Tech support is looking into it.

Happened to me yesterday after my very first update after downloading Origin and buying games.  So disappointed.
