Hello, I could use some help. My origin application on my Mac wont let me login. It says my password is wrong and crashes frequently. When I use the website it tells me the password I am sure is correct is correct. I have tried reseting my password to no avail as well as deleting and reinstalling origin and I would just like my games back, thank you for your time.

@izziedixon Try running the Origin reset tool for macOS. It removes files not normally deleted during a regular uninstall.

If that doesn't help, try changing your password to something with only letters and numbers, no special characters, and no letters with extra symbols over them (accents, umlauts, whatever). Origin is sometimes picky about what it recognizes as valid characters.

@izziedixon When running the Origin reset tool, you need to enter the password for your Mac, not for Origin. The helper tool is something Origin installs alongside the app itself, but your computer will block it unless you give permission with your system password.

@izziedixon Try uninstalling Origin manually; there's a file that the reset tool doesn't catch.

If this doesn't help, please make sure you don't have any proxies enabled. Using a proxy usually doesn't cause this particular error, but I guess it's possible. Here's how to disable proxies:
