Hello... I have realised that this is a common topic, yet any methods of fixing it found, unfortunately do not work for me.
The problem is that when i try to install Origin (the latest one from the website), it does nothing - no installation even when run in admin.
I have tried rebooting/clean boot but nothing seems to help.
I also came across the idea of installing older versions and then updating. I tried this too yet after it updates to the latest version, the same problem occurs.
I would like to note that Origin had been working fine before the Windows April 2018 update, after that I cannot get it to work.
I would be greatful for any help....

@Filipex_37 Which old version that you use? I can use offline mode on version 10.4.12

I think u still can run every game by clicking luncher in programm files, but the problem of him (and mine ) is that we can not even instal an origin application, so we can not run any game.

Make sure you have removed all files and folders related to the installation Origin.
-manually uninstall Origin http://help.ea.com/en/article/manually-uninstalling-origin/
-run CCleaner http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-use-ccleaner-to-fix-pc-issues/
-then go in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin -delete this Origin folder
-clear Origin cache https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/origin-my-games-list-is-blank
-delete temp files: open the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Search field or click in the Run option in the Start Menu and type %temp% in the Run field.Press Enter and a Temp folder should open. You can delete all files found in this folder, and if any files are in use, they can be skipped.
-clear hosts file http://support.microsoft.com/kb/972034
-now you have to go to your recycle bin and clean so there will no longer Origin exist as a file.
-restart your machine.
-install Origin as administrator (very important to do) https://www.origin.com/en-ie/download

@yahel_1 I followed all your steps but still not work for me. My OriginThinSetup still didn't do anything after I ran as admin. Thanks for advice tho.

I have followed all your steps but still no success..... still the same as before.....
Do you think the latest major Windows Update could be the problem? I installed Origin perfectly fine a few hours before the windows update. Nothing was installed/deleted in the meantime as the PC was running by itself (I left it for the night)??

@Filipex_37 I don't think it was about window update tho. I was able to log-in on 5/23 before BFV announcement and the latest origin update. But after that, every was ruined.... My Origin client shut down right after the update and nothing happened then I try to reinstall it but my OriginThinSetup won't start even I follow all yahel_1 steps.
so frustrated now...

After which update could you not open origin? I mean could the problem be related to windows, not origin update..?
