Exactly, everytime i launch origin it starts the update of 76mb, but why? i already installed it 4 or 5 times

Necessarily have to do these steps
manually uninstall Origin http://help.ea.com/en/article/manually-uninstalling-origin/
run CCleaner http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-use-ccleaner-to-fix-pc-issues/
install Origin https://www.origin.com/en-ie/download
-and do this...
First step... updating your Origin client...to the latest Beta version /top left Origin menu, Application Settings - General..
The second step... restart Origin and make sure you are the administrator, run the setup file Origin with Admin rights.
Solved your question ? ...please hit Accept As Solution on the post they did so others know it worked or have the curtsy to say " Thanks, but it didn't work "

I have this problem too and the fix given here didn't work for me.
I did the CCleaner part and everything.
Is there another fix available?

For me I just had to run Origin as an Administrator and the download seemed to install itself correctly.
I didn't have to uninstall Origin, just right clicked it and went "Run as Administrator".
Hope this helps others out there with this problem.

i think its a real solution, over the supercomplicated registry thing.

Easier way, try this:
Launch it as administrator. Right click and select "Run as Administrator".
It works for me.

While this worked for me, I found that the next update was back to usual. Unless I run as admin each time I need to install updates... bad programming EA, bad.
