Origin says it needs and update then goes to offline mode [ Edited ]

Went to play bf4 today and origin says it needs an update. Origin then downloads 77mb out of 77mb then goes into offline mode and says something along the line of needing to download a critical update, restart origin to go online and it says it needs to download the same update and the process repeat.

I tried starting as an admin, restarting the computer, reinsalling origin, turning off my antivirus etc. Origin worked fine a couple of days ago when it updated, what gives now?

Could you please try the steps in the order below:

1. Manually uninstall Origin
2. Run CCleaner
3. Do a Clean Boot
4. Make sure that your UAC is enabled and set to notify
5. Download the latest version of Origin and install the client
6. Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin and open the needed ports
7. When starting Origin, please make sure to run it as Administrator

I just bought my computer. I cannot log on to origin. it says ther is a critical update. I cant find any updates

@slimpikensb4 Origin should download the update itself. Could you please uninstall the origin you currently have, download the setup file from THIS PAGE and run the installation.
