Origin is selling a game that support claims is shut down

Origin is selling Shift 2 Unleashed, but support refuses to support any issues with the game, claiming that it is shut down or "sunset". How can Origin still be selling a game that is no longer supported because it's shut down or "sunset" (whatever that means).

Hey @rcgldr as I understand it support for Shift 2: Unleashed is still ongoing and it is not included in the list of games whose online services were ended: https://www.ea.com/service-updates/r-z

I'm reposting after having called EA support on the phone today.

I called EA support on the phone, and that person in turn talked to a specialist that stated that Shift 2 Unleashed is no longer supported, and also claimed that the Origin Store listing for Shift 2 Unleashed has a disclaimer that it is no longer supported, but the person I was talking with went to the Origin Store and looked at the listing for Shift 2 Unleashed and confirmed there was no disclaimer on the listing.
