Origin client wont insall

I am trying to download the Origin Client on my new Windows 10 alienware alpha. ONce running the installer,  I get to a point where the installer no longer moves forward. It remains on one execution and nothing happens.

I attached an image of the point where this error occurs and nothing moves forward.

Please help as I am unable to download my purchase from EA due to this issue.

Hi @dimercu9 To make that clear, msconfig does not open at all, also no error messages?

If you right click at the start button and choose "command prompt (Admin)" does it open?   

What was the exact sfc /scannow report?

You should search your machine for Viruses and Malware.

Restart your machine.

System configuration will not open on my pc. When I select system configuration nothing appears to be happening. Is there something blocking his application? If so, how do I disable that portion? I am running Windows 10 if that helps

I still havent had any luck being able to access System configurations (nothing opens when i select it).

Does anyone have any resolution here?

@dimercu9 Try this:

- Press the windows key and "R" at the same time.

- Type or copy "msconfig" (without the quotes) in > hit ENTER

If msconfig opens, follow the steps in the link above.

If it doesn't open report back.

If the advice from Yahel and Holger doesn't work and you still cannot access the files, I would suggest that you run the System File Checker tool included with Windows, as instructed here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-ie/kb/929833

This well ensure that there are no issues with your Windows installation.

msconfig in didn't do anything or open anything.

I also ran the system file check in the second reply and nothing was found either
