The game in question is Mass Effect, which I installed a few days ago, making an Origin account in the process, and played several hours on without problem.
However, when I attempted to return to it today, it could not be found in "My Games" in my origin account, and it seemed to want me to install it again, despite the fact that the programme was already installed - and still is, as I have checked for it in my files. When I try to "install the game again", it asks me for my product code, and when I put in the one I used to install it earlier, it says the code has already been used, which it has - by me, on the same computer on the same game a few days ago. I am unable to progress any further.
Thanks.

I found a solution for this with the Sims 3 expansions, at least. They were suddenly gone from my library, only leaving me with the base game icon. I was able to access and re-install the missing expansion packs clicking the (i) button of the Sims 3 base game icon. It would then take me to an overview of all available expansions, where my purchased expansions were listed, so I could re-download them. It was utterly annoying, but at least I have access to them again.

Please make sure you have "Show: All Games" in MY GAMES selected. Have also a look at "Hidden Games" because manually hidden games will not appear in the "All Games" view.

Thanks. However, here's another problem: I'm pretty certain I've clicked over every single pixel on my origins page, but i can't find any option for "Hidden Games" or "Show: All Games". I'm unable to any arrows by "my games" other the arrows to navigate forwards and backwards. Meanwhile, the computer is still asking me to install the game again.

1st Make sure you are logged into the account on which the game/s were registered.
If you're getting the "code already used" message, it means the game code has been registered.
Please make sure you have "Show: All Games" in MY GAMES selected. Have also a look at "Hidden Games" because manually hidden games will not appear in the "All Games" view.

Your game should show up in the "My Games" folder of the Origin account you used to enter the code. If your game isn't there, you're either logged into the wrong account or the game hasn't been activated yet. It can take a while. If it doesn't show up you'll need to contact a Game Advisor.
1 Click on the following link: https://help.ea.com/contact-us
2 Make sure you are logged in (top right corner)
3 Click on the blue button "Contact a Game Advisor"
4 Enter the name of your game or product (or "Origin" for account-related issues) and click "Find Solutions"
5 Select the type of issue and the platform you play on, and click on "Find Solutions".
6 Click on the blue button "I still need help" if the FAQ articles do not apply to your situation.
7 Select a contact option. Note that you may get different contact options depending on your country.

The game code should have been included in the game box. If it was not then please return to your retailer for assistance.

@lovesims0628 Hi,
It sounds as if you purchased the game successfully on the Origin Store or at least redeemed the product code on there, but now you aren't able to download and install it.
If this is what happened, you will first want to download and install the Origin Client: https://www.origin.com/download
Next, start the Origin Client with administrator rights: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-do-i-run-a-progr
You can then log in with your account, the same that you had used to initially purchase your game.
Now click on the "My Games" tab within the client.
There you will find a box tile of your game. Click it and choose download.
Once the download and installation has concluded, you can click the game tile again and choose play!
Let us know if you run into any issues on the way.
Cheers,
Nils
