Origin and games on external not working when changing computers.

I have the Origin Launcher and Game(s) installed to an external so I can play on different available computers..
But when I start Origin on a different computer, it doesn't recognize that the game(s) are installed and is stuck on "Resuming Download"  what am I doing wrong?

Was playing it fine on the system it finished the download on, before I changed computer.

Edit: Also, if i tell it to cancel the download, thinking it's already done so maybe it'll recognize it.... it just deletes the whole folder and I need to redownload all 28GB again.
made that mistake last night.

Progress.
I've copied all registry keys I could find for Battlefield 4 from the original system to the second, and now it's listed as Installed on the second machine.
But it's stuck at "Resuming Update"

I'm not sure what my next step should be.

Any ideas?

Update.

I tricked the system into recognizing that Battlefield was installed.
So I uninstalled it through control panel.

Restarted Origin, let it start the download, to make the folder again.. closed Origin, moved the backup folder into place and merged with new one.

Origin then told me the Registry key was missing
" Install Check Registry Key
Missing key-[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Games\Battlefield 4\Install Dir] "

So I closed Origin, re-added only that key from my copies.

Restarted Origin again, and the download jumped to 23% (5.54GB / 23.13GB)
Even though the folder is the full 28GB it should be.

Debug info is still telling me to check that reg key, but It's fine.
I'll keep fiddling till I fix it.

Update!

I added the punkbuster registry, and Origin then started to try and update Battlefield.
I canceled it, placed the other registry in place
Restarted Origin, it said BF was up to date..
but now it says "Launch Path File Missing File-BF4WebHelper.exe" even though it's there.

So I'm trying a 'repair game' to see if that will fix it.

Update.
Verify seems to have shrunk the folder.. it's only 6GB now..
and wants to download 17GB...

Update!

Moving the Data contents from backup to new, and removing the "Stream" versions in new has worked.

Verify/repair is currently downloading the "Update" folder, which I won't move, just to be safe.
a 2.64GB download is much better than a 17GB.

I'm probably going to sleep while this does it, it'll take an hour to download. and it's 5:30AM right now..

I'll update when I check it later today(When I wake)

AND yes, I know I've posted alot.
I'm sorry if this breaks rules..
But I've not had any form of response, so I've just been trying to fix this myself and thought I should post my findings as they were made.
With timestamps so you all know how long it took to figure out these steps.

I know this is ancient, but if you start downloading a game in origin, pause it, then copy your existing installation to the place where it is downloading and then resume it, it essentially does a repair and installs the registry keys. Make sure to not stop the download or it will delete everything - only pause it.
