My Origin and games were working perfectly before I upgraded to El Capitan. Even after fresh installs and updates of the latest Origin software, when I try to download my games, it begins the download process, but then just freezes at 1%. The games never download. I tried the solutions for the bug people had about "downloads not available", replacing the SSL libraries, but that had no effect.
To emphasize, in the bug I'm having, there are no errors - the program believes everything is working perfectly. But downloads never progress. Pausing and restarting the downloads doesn't help either.
And to anticipate a level 1 support question, I realize these are big files, and that the EA servers are slow, but on my other Mavericks computers in the same house I can download them in less than an hour - there's no hang at 1%.
How can I get my games? Can I transfer them directly from my other computers?
Thanks,
- Jeff
