Origin Keeps Crashing when idle

Hello,

When i go away from my computer for a while and i return i see origin has crashed and i need to restart it. I found out this only happens when someone sends me a message while i'm away.

This is really annoying as you can probably imagine.

Indeed. Have you tried a reinstall of the client? You can do so without removing all of your games. 

If that has no effect, try clearing your local temp files. These persist through a reinstall and may prompt a verification scan of your games.

Delete the hidden folders in the following locations. 

• Origin folder in C:\ProgramData\
• Origin folder in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\
• Origin folder in C:\Users\ <username> \AppData\Roaming\
