Origin/EA

So had a previous EA/Origin acount and have been using that forever.  Couple years later I accidentaly used the wrong email for a EA game, then recently my old email "expired" and stopped working.  Now when I want to change this EA acount to my newer email adress, I can't because it's already being used by another EA acount I accidentaly set up. My question is; How do I delete this EA acount? And if I do, will I still be able to use that Email adress?
