After trying for some time to get my old product code of Battlefield 2 to work on Origin, even contacting EA support a few times, they were very nice and helpful but nothing could be done about the issue. I also looked through the possibility of buying it on Amazon (The only place left to buy it) I quickly scrapped that idea because the ultimate edition is about 150 Euros, which is beyond a reasonable price.
Personally, I do not see the point of EA not selling their old games like BF 1942, BF Vietnam, BF 2,BF 2142, why not just sell it on origin so we can buy them at a normal price? I can guarantee that a lot of people would buy the previously mentioned games in a heartbeat.
