Not allowed change DOB

When I try to change my date of birth for my Origin account it tells me I need to contact them? I only want to change my Day & Date for some reason there wrong I have no memory of entering this date

You can now change your Date of Birth via Origin.

Go to the Origin Menu, Account and Privacy, Basic Information, Edit.
