Not Downloading My Sims 3 Game

I purchased a Sims 3 game for the DVD Rom. Whenever it would ask me to download the game, it would always come up with a message that said that my download had been paused, and that I would need to say 'yes' to them downloading some files when Windows sends me the prompt. The problem is, they never send me the prompt and it says, immediately after the message appears on my screen, that the download has failed. What should I do?

Please make sure that UAC is enabled and set to notify and that Origin is running with Admin rights, then try to install the game again.
