No Resume Button For Play While Downloading Games

When my download reaches 25%, there is no pause or resume download button! If I close and open origin, I cannot resume my download and have to start over. It is replace with a Play button, since it is a play while downloading game. PLEASE HELP!

Hi @SuperSpartan010,

Thanks for the update. Download Queued clarified your issue to me. It usually means that your download is blocked by a program on your computer. Please try the following steps:

• Clear your Origin cache, start as Origin Admin afterwards. I see you have already done this though!
• Clean boot
• If you have an anti-virus or firewall, please close them or allow Origin access
• If the above doesn't work, preferably in clean boot, uninstall Origin and download the latest version

I have encountered often encountered this issue and those steps have never failed to solve the issue so far. Please get back to me if you have any further questions.

Which game are you having issues with?

As for the issue itself, you can try the following:

• Right-click the game and select Pause Download
• For download issues, try Safe Mode from Origin > Application Settings > Advanced
• Start Origin as Administrator by right-clicking it when launching

Hi,

I have had this problem with many games, though usually it is fixed by clearing the Origin Cache. Currently, even though I have tried clearing it, Fifa 13 will not download, no matter what I try. I have also tried running as admin, and many more 'solutions'. I downloaded it fine in the past, so I am not sure what is wrong.

Also, there is no pause download button since the download is queued, the download doesn't appear in the queue bar, Safe Mode doesn't help, and already tried running as admin. Is there anything else I can try?
