MySims cursor disappeared

So I bought the game MySims for my son's birthday thinking it would be a cool gift. Download and install went withouth a problem. We sat down and began to start a new game. We opened the game gave a name to his new town and then came to the create a sim editor and the cursor dissapeared. I move the mouse and all that happens is that the sim rotates. I opened Origin in game with ctrl+F1 and could see the cursor then I closed Origin and away went my cursor. I was able to kind of man handle the game by rapidly opening and closing the ingame Orgin screen and get out of the create a sim editor but my cursor was M.I.A. Any Ideas on how to fix this aside from reboot, re-install, or re-download and install? (allready did all that).

Try running it in admin mode.

Hey @PiffyPifferson can you ensure that any overlays are disabled, this includes Origin In-Game and Discord.

Once disabled try launching the game again to see if you see the same error.

Can you also ensure that any controllers are also unplugged?
